CEU Plus FAQ's

1. How is CEU Plus different from other online continuing education providers?

CEU Plus courses are creatively designed with efficiency and adult learning in mind.  We understand time pressures of the working professional and our efficient process is a creation of our desire to provide a high quality product that is completed in a timely manner.    All of our developers are subject matter experts with adult training experience.  CEU Plus courses are innovative and different because all of our ce courses contain audio, graphics, learning scenarios, and most contain video.  Our ground-breaking courses provide for high quality, interactive learning experiences.  CEU Plus is dedicated to providing learning experiences and understanding instead of text and extraneous quizzes.   After you complete your course, you will also be able to download and print your certificate immediately.

2.  What do I need in order to be able to view the CEU Plus courses?

To view the continuing education course link from CEU Plus you will need Flash Player 9 or later.   Many computers already have this player, but if you're computer does not, it's a free and easy download.  Just go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download the latest version.

3.  How many of my required ce hours can I get online?

We would love for you to get all your continuing education credits from CEU Plus.  Several licensing boards allow you to receive all your ce credits from online courses, however, we recommend you contact your specific licensing board to confirm their requirements.

4. I'm not very computer savvy.  Is it easy to use the CEU Plus system?

Absolutely. Our system is very user friendly.  Our steps are easy to follow and our explicit instructions are written in easy to understand language.  If you have any questions, you are free to contact us.  No question is a dumb question!  We would rather you ask and let us talk you through the process than dismiss us.

5. Is it safe to use my credit card on the CEU Plus site?

Yes.  Our site offers secure payment processing.

6. How long does it take to complete an online course and get my certificate?

The CEU Plus process is streamlined for efficiency, and so it should not take any longer than one hour and ten minutes to complete a 1-hour ce course and print your certificate.  Our ce courses do not depend on how fast you can read and answer questions.  It is a simple mathematical equation; 1-hour ceu credit = 1-hour of time spent.   

7. What happens if I fail the course?

You cannot fail a CEU Plus course.  Learning scenarios and self reflective questions are offered throughout our ceu courses and are much more in line with the adult learning style than reading text and answering questions.  Most ceu providers give quizzes because it is their only way of showing the licensing boards that you took the course and that you 'learned' from the text you read.  We believe you will learn more and have a more enjoyable experience from the scenarios in our continuing education courses than from reading text and taking a quiz.

8.  How can I find out if a CEU Plus ce course is approved for my professional license?

9.  How do I receive my certificate after taking a CEU Plus ce course?

Once you've completed the course you will answer a short course evaluation.  Once you finish the evaluation you will be guided to a link in the course where you can download and/or print your certificate.  Your certificate will be in PDF format.

10.  What if I don't have a printer to print out my certificate?

That's ok.  Once you complete the course you can still download and save your certificate so you will have it on your computer.  You can email it to yourself at work to print it if that's an option.  Otherwise, please contact us and request a copy be mailed to you.  This, of course, will take a bit longer, but we will mail it to you within 2 business days of receiving your request.

11.  I can't find the answer to my question on the FAQ list.  How can I ask my question?

Please contact us with any question you have.  We welcome your questions and will answer you as quickly as possible.

12.  Do you keep records of the courses I purchase?

Yes.  We are required by the licensing board that holds our accreditation to keep course transaction records for a set amount of time.  You will be able to log-on to your account and see the courses you've taken as well.
